Protective coating systems
A coating system is only as good as what it is applied to. Rolled over failing render it will do very little; applied over a sound, correctly prepared and textured surface it does exactly what it is designed to do.
As a Dulux Accredited Applicator, work is carried out using the standard Dulux Acratex system in accordance with the manufacturer's product specification, including AcraShield finishes where they suit the substrate and exposure.
What we look for
Colour has faded unevenly
North and west elevations take far more UV than the rest of the house, and older coatings show it first.
The surface no longer sheds dirt
A coating past its service life holds grime, and washing stops making much difference.
You want a colour change
A re-texture and re-coat is the point at which changing the colour of the house costs no more than keeping it the same.
How the work is carried out
- 01
Prepare the substrate
Cleaning, repair and re-texturing are completed and cured before any coating is considered.
- 02
Specify the system
The products and number of coats are selected from the Dulux Acratex range to suit the substrate, exposure and finish you want.
- 03
Apply to specification
Coats are applied at the manufacturer's stated rates and recoat times, with the weather taken into account rather than worked around.
Dulux product warranties apply as set out in the manufacturer's product specification. We do not offer or register separate warranty terms.
