Swanbourne Render Restorations is run by Mark, a UK-trained solid plasterer and stone mason who has spent the last fifteen years restoring rendered homes across Perth. There is no sales team and no subcontracted crew turning up in place of the person who wrote the quote.
The trade background matters on this kind of work. Restoring a rendered elevation is a substrate problem before it is a finish problem, and the difference between a repair that lasts and one that reappears in two summers is usually a decision made before anything is applied.

Time-served apprenticeship working mainly on private properties, including work carried out for English Heritage on buildings where the substrate had to be understood before anything was applied to it.
NVQ Level 2 in solid plastering
Formal trade qualification behind the hands-on training — the reason the work starts with why a surface has failed rather than what will cover it.
Dulux Accredited Applicator
Work is carried out using the standard Dulux Acratex system in accordance with the manufacturer's product specification. Dulux product warranties apply as per that specification.
15 years working on Perth homes
Fifteen years of render repair and restoration in the conditions that actually matter here: salt exposure, UV, moisture movement and weathering across the coastal and western suburbs.
How we work with you
Quoting
A site inspection is normally needed before a written quotation. If the job is small and straightforward and your photos are clear, a quote can sometimes be prepared without visiting.
Deposit
A 20% deposit confirms your booking and secures a place in the schedule.
Progress payments
On larger jobs a 50% progress payment may be requested at the midway point. This is agreed in writing before work starts.
Insurance
Public liability cover up to $20 million through Allianz. A certificate of currency is supplied with every accepted quote.
The work we take on
Most of our work is restoration on existing homes — render repair and re-texturing, crack repair and crack stitching, protective coating systems, waterproofing and boundary wall restoration. We generally do not take on new builds. Strata and commercial work is considered case by case.
Scaffolding partner
Where scaffolding is required it is supplied and erected by Elita Scaffold, run by Scott — the same crew on every job, and the cost is included in your quotation.
