Where we work
Perth's coastal and western suburbs
Based in Swanbourne and working across the coastal strip, the western suburbs and the river suburbs, with some inner-suburb work. As a rule we travel up to around thirty minutes — if you are a little further out, ask and we will tell you honestly.
The area we cover
We work across the coastal strip, the western suburbs and the river suburbs, along with nearby inner suburbs. The job is approached the same way wherever it is — what changes is the wall in front of us, not the postcode.
If you are within about a thirty minute drive of Swanbourne, we are almost certainly able to help. A little further out, just ask.
Why render fails faster here
The environmental conditions affecting Perth's coastal and western suburbs — salt exposure, UV, moisture and weathering — are hard on rendered walls, and they are the reason a surface that looks tired usually has a cause behind it.
Salt exposure
Airborne salt carried inland settles on rendered walls and works into the surface. It shows up as crystalline bloom, blistering coatings and render losing its bond from the substrate outward.
UV and heat
Long, hot summers break down older coating systems, fade colour unevenly and drive expansion and contraction that opens up hairline cracking on exposed elevations.
Moisture and weathering
Driving winter rain finds failed detailing at parapets, sills and boundary walls. Once moisture has a path in, it carries salts back out and the render breaks down from behind the finish.
In your street?
Tell us your suburb and what the wall is doing, and add a couple of photos if you can. You will normally hear back within two business days.
